What is the Forex Market?

The forex market is the most liquid market in the world with over $5 trillion of volume per day worldwide. It is open 24 hours a day/5 days a week starting in Sydney, then Tokyo, followed by Europe and finally the Americas. The market opens late on Sunday evening and then closes late on Friday. Forex trading is all about speculating what one currency pair will do against another.
